Firefighters Warn About This Danger At Home. Do You Recognize It?

2. Power strip

Be careful with worn or broken extension cables or power strips before inserting electrical devices. Do not put any cables under doors or carpets. A power strip should never be used for large household devices. These devices must always be plugged directly into a wall socket.

Make sure the power strips are not overloaded and use approved power strips with surge protection. In less than 30 seconds, a fire can occur with devastating consequences. We advise you to discard old cables immediately and stop using them.
